TNC Endurance Retreat: June 3-5

It's back! The 3rd Annual TNC Endurance Training Retreat!


It's one of the highlights of my year! We will fill two cabins near Hayward, WI with as many individuals as the cabins can hold. Then we train hard together, eat LOTS together, have fun challenging each other in strength competitions and other grand adventures. We will spend some time reviewing/learning about training systems, nutrition, and trying new strength work exercises to bring back to your personal routines. We also have plenty of time to enjoy fun cabin activities as well: time on the water, exploring trails, lounging/reading out in the sun, etc!

We always have a hearty - and witty - group of folk attend, so you're guaranteed to have fun, memorable weekend!

New this year: Brian and Caitlin Gregg, both Nordic Ski Olympians, will be attending a portion of camp. What a great opportunity to work out alongside Olympians, hear them speak about their journeys, and just get to know these two wonderful, giving individuals!

ALL abilities and backgrounds welcome. In the past I've hosted individuals wanting to finish their first marathon, triathletes/nordic skiers wanting to work on their run game, individuals trying to learn how to maximize training and nutrition for weight loss - all the way to the sub elite! 

Of particular note for this camp: 
-It's perfectly timed 2 weeks before Grandma's marathon, making it the perfect tune-up weekend to dial in correct goal marathon pace. 
-I already have RSVPs from individuals ranging from a 2:35 marathon to a 4:00

Food prep for some amazing meals! Each attendee is randomly selected to help prep or clean-up different meals, sometimes leading to meal-time adventures.
These two wouldn't give up during the wall sit, so we added a good "cabin" twist to the challenge

Nichole Porath

Nichole is a blogger, elite level runner, and coach. She ran professionally for Brooks for two years after qualifying for the 2012 US Olympic Marathon Trials. During that time she founded TNC endurance, where she coaches and motivationally speaks to organizations large and small. This blog details her rise to national-level racing, and continues to follow her as she gets back into racing after starting a family. Read on, friends!
