Motivation Monday - Indoor Marathon Record

My Indoor Marathon Record was broken a week ago.

The new record is 2:53:53. I ran a 2:57:34 last year.

When I first signed up for Zoom! Yah! Yah! last year, I did it because I thought it would be entertaining. Humorous, even. "I'm a world record holder..." I would say with a chuckle.

But after reading that my record had been broken, I realized that I cared! It's now something that I was proud to have held, and now want to defend! It may be something I train for specifically next year :). Zoom! Yah! Yah! 2015, here I come.

Nerdy, yes, but I'm motivated :)
